These super neat bookmarks are actual replicas of oriental carpets. Each one has been beautifully crafted with such a unique and colorful design, and has the name of the carpet rug, it’s original circa number, and where it originated from printed on the back of the cardboard packaging. Even with all of the woven thread, they are still only about as thick as a piece of cardstock paper (thickness varies rug to rug). The Burara Carpet originates from Uzbekistan, circa 1735.
